Feedback Policy

Providing feedback to pupils and students is a central part of a teacher鈥檚 role and gives pupils/students guidance and information about their performance, with the aim of improving their learning and driving progress.

At 澳门六合开奖结果, feedback takes on many forms, both written and verbal, which is given via assessments, class work, conversations and home-learning.听 As well as teacher feedback, where appropriate, staff encourage pupils and students to participate in self and peer assessment.听 Pupils and student receive feedback during lessons whilst they undertake a task in order to support the identification of common mistakes and/or misconceptions.听 This allows teachers to give immediate feedback to the whole class.

Exercise books are an instrument for recording learning and are not routinely 鈥渕arked鈥 by teachers but rather, pupils and students regularly receive written feedback to summarise their progress against the Key Performance Indicators for each subject.

Fundraising

Although we would not usually include requests for fundraising, we very much want to support our colleague, Karen, at Glebe Primary School who is planning to abseil down the ArcelorMittal Orbit at the Olympic Park on Saturday 11th November.听 Karen has been supporting Henry, who is 5 years old, and his family following Henry鈥檚 diagnosis, for the second time, with a brain tumour.听 Karen is hoping to raise funds for and awareness of the wonderful work that Brain Tumour Research are undertaking.听 If you would like to donate then please click to access Karen鈥檚 鈥済ofundme鈥 page.听 Good luck Karen!

We also have a number of our Army Cadet pupils selling merchandise in support of this year鈥檚 Poppy Appeal.听 If you are able to do so, please can I ask you to encourage your child to donate to this important cause which provides vital support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families, offering guidance and assistance with recovery and civilian life transitions all year round.
